🏁 When Does It Start?

Mark your calendars—Go for Gold kicks off in P5 W1 (Sunday 19th January), with the first results revealed the following Monday, 27th January. The countdown is on!

🥇 The Challenge

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to rack up as many medals as possible for your site. You’ll be competing against other locations in your district across five electrifying events each week. Let’s break them down:

1️⃣ Under Starters Orders: Sell as many starters as you can. Easy, right? Go, go, go! 🥗
2️⃣ The Dessert Dash: Sweet tooth alert! Get those desserts flying out of the kitchen. 🍰
3️⃣ The Add-On High Jump: Elevate meals with fabulous add-ons—think large carveries, onion rings, sides of fries—the sky's the limit! 🍟
4️⃣ The Hot Drinks Hurdles: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate—whatever warms your guests’ hearts (and hands). ☕
5️⃣ The Premium Pursuit: Upgrade those pints! Can you convince guests to go premium? 🍺

🏅 How Do Medals Work?

Every week, the top three performers in each event in each district will take home gold, silver, or bronze medals. That’s 15 medals up for grabs every week in every district.

And it’s not just about personal glory—your RBM’s are also competing! Your performance helps your whole district climb the leaderboard. Teamwork makes the dream work! 💪

🏆 Grand Finale

At the end of Period 7 (QTR 2), the top site in each district will be crowned Go for Gold Champions and win an exciting prize (TBC—but you know it’ll be worth it!). Then, we hit reset and dive into Go for Gold Part 2.
